JSC “Vilniaus margarino gamykla”, which has started its production activity in 1999, today is a leading producer of margarine in the Baltic States.
The company is owned by the biggest Danish margarine producer “Dragsbaek” AS, which belongs to “Orkla Food Ingredients” AS – one of the biggest company groups in the food industry in Northern and Eastern Europe.
JSC “Vilniaus margarino gamykla” produces only high quality and healthy modern food products. In 2002, the company has implemented the system of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) that ensures safety of the food products from the very first step – purchasing of raw materials – until their final delivery to store shelves. In 2006, the Company has been awarded with BRC (British Retail Consortium) Certificate, which proves that the Company controls all processes successfully and meets the highest food safety and quality standards.

JSC “Vilniaus margarino gamykla” produces products for both retail and wholesale markets – consumer and industrial for bakeries. The Company’s products are marked with brand names VILNIUS, AIMA, SUPER. High quality margarine marked with the brand name VILNIUS is the market leader (33%* market share in Lithuania).
JSC “Vilniaus margarino gamykla” also produces private label products for both domestic and foreign partners.
Successful competition in the markets of the Baltic States, in the EU markets, as well as in the other countries is the result of years of business experience. At present, the margarine is being exported to Latvia, Estonia, Czech Republic, Israel, Ireland, Azerbaijan, and even to the African continent.
